God Loves To Save The Most Despicable Kinds Of People
   Home      The Holy Spirit

Do

Do you know for sure you are a possession of God?

Its by the present of the Holy Spirit in your life, the Holy Spirit is the mark that God owns you, the Holy Spirit is the down payment pledge that God is going to come back one day and take you home with himself and if you don’t have the Holy Spirit and it is very clear you don’t belong to God (Acts19)

The question is the Holy Spirit in your life?

Has your appetite for sin been crushed?

Do you have victory in your life over sin?

Do you have a desire to read Gods word?

Do you have a desire to be in Gods house?

Is there something in you that’s wants to fall down and talk to God?

Is your heart stirred when you hear Christian music?

Is your heart stirred when you hear the preacher preaching?

The belief that does not save is the belief that does not change the person who believes. "Jesus said that if you believe in Him, you would be changed"

What is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Can a Christian commit it?

Saved people act and think and speak differently.  When a person is truly "saved" he experiences the fruit of the Spirit ; Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Saved people live a life that demonstrates that they love God, they love the Word of God, and they love fellowship with the people of God.  They hate the things that God hates; Proverbs 6:16

."  Saved people love the Lord Jesus Christ and they live obedient lives; John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command."
Saved people see themselves as sojourners- this earth is not our home.  They see themselves as ambassadors- we represent Christ to those who don't yet know Him.  They are a "peculiar" people- they don't live like the world lives, don't value what the world values, don't love like the world loves.  Saved people are few according to Jesus; Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."  Our churches are filled with people who believe they are saved and on the right path but they are not.  Belonging to a denomination, attending church, being baptized, professing faith at an altar call are not guarantees of being on the right road.  A person who is saved will forsake everything about this world to follow Jesus.  They will as Jesus commands us in Luke 9:23 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."  Saved people are waiting expectantly and lovingly for the return of Christ.  They live as if Jesus were to return any moment.  They anticipate with great joy the time when they will serve Jesus during his reign on the earth during the thousand years and then serve him forever in the new heavens and the new earth.

The belief that does not save is the belief that does not change the person who believes. "Jesus said that if you believe in Him, you would be changed"

If you have no desire to be in Gods house, if you have no desires to follow God,

if you an appetite for the things of the world than the Holy Spirit is not in you and the Bible says you are not saved.

 The Holy Spirit

John 14:26   (Read all of John 14)

But the Comforter,  the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

Luke 3:16   (Read all of Luke 3)John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and [in] fire:

Acts 4:31  Acts 4)And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness. In Christianity, the third person of the Holy Trinity. Though references to the spirit of Yahweh (God) abound in the Old Testament, Christian teaching about the Holy Spirit is derived mainly from the Gospels. The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus at his baptism, and outpourings of the Spirit are mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles, in which healing, prophecy, exorcism, and speaking in tongues are associated with its activity. The Holy Spirit also came to the disciples during Pentecost. The definition of the Holy Spirit as a divine person equal in substance to the Father and the Son was made at the Council of Constantinople
